Unique Nannies grew naturally from Yasmin’s lifelong love for children and her deep understanding of human connection. Her journey is a blend of two different worlds that belong perfectly together: a decade in corporate Human Resources and years of hands-on experience as a professional nanny.
Back in Venezuela, Yasmin earned her BA in Business and spent ten years working in HR. Her job was entirely about listening to people, understanding what made them thrive, and intentionally placing them where they could truly succeed. It taught her how to vet thoroughly, look past the paperwork, and see the real person underneath.
When Yasmin moved to the United States, she returned to a passion she’s carried since she was 14 years old: caring for children. As a full-time, live-in nanny, she managed the beautiful, chaotic reality of raising multiples and twins. She lived through it all; the school routines, the meal prep, the homework battles, and those unforgettable magic moments like first steps, first words, and comforting bedtime hugs.
Yasmin knows exactly what it feels like to step into a family’s sacred space as a caregiver. She knows the vulnerability parents feel when leaving their children with someone new, and she knows the professional screening required to ensure absolute safety. Unique Nannies exists because Yasmin has lived both sides of the story with her whole heart.
As a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish, Yasmin brings a personal understanding of the value of language and cultural connection in a child’s development, and actively seeks caregivers who can offer families that same gift.
