Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 9am-5pm / Friday (flexible)
32-40 hours a week
Salary: $25-$30 per hour
Benefits: 30 hours Guaranteed, paid sick days, vacation, and holidays.
Description:
A warm and caring family is seeking an experienced, patient, and kind nanny to join their household long-term to help care for their active and joyful 8-month-old boy. Both parents work from home most of the time and value a nanny who is comfortable working in a home equipped with cameras.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, nurturing, and safe care for the 8-month-old boy
Engage the child with age-appropriate activities, including reading, playing, and singing nursery rhymes
Feed the child nutritious meals, maintaining good hand hygiene, and adhering to the established feeding schedule
Ensure the child’s health and safety are top priorities, staying updated with AAP recommendations
Maintain punctuality and reliability, demonstrating a trustworthy and no-nonsense attitude
Respect parents’ working environment, minimizing interruptions, unless urgent
Refrain from using a cell phone while caring for the child, unless in an emergency
Uphold a normal personal life, ensuring professional boundaries are respected
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of nanny experience, preferably with long-term positions
CPR and First Aid certified
Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
Strong references from previous families
Up-to-date on recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap, flu, and Covid-19)
Ability to listen to and follow parents’ requests
Comfortable working in a home with cameras
